Welcome to Innova Ministries International

Innova is the Latin word for 'Renew'.

Our Mission

Innova Ministries is all about restoration, renewal, and rejoicing in the Lord.  We look forward to sharing with you the journey the Lord will take us on.

Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. (‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ NLT)

My faith

“‘AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus] SHALL BE SAVED (rescued spiritually).’”

‭‭ACTS‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death.”

‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭8:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Journey to Renewal and Relationship

Improving and building your relationship with God (pt. 1)

“and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

‭‭2 CHRONICLES‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Do you require God as your greatest need?

Do you crave the Lord?

Requiring God as a necessity should become a state of mind....just like breathing to stay alive.

You just got to have Him...it’s like being thirsty

1. You must first acknowledge who you belong to...Gods people, the creator of all things. We tend to forget that we are not our own.

“But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A CONSECRATED NATION, A [special] PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were NOT A PEOPLE [at all], but now you are GOD’S PEOPLE; once you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.”

‭‭1 PETER‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Journey to Renewal and Relationship

Improving and building your relationship with God (pt. 2)

2. In the scripture above it says, we must humble ourselves... what does that really mean to humble ones self?

Definition:

- having a feeling of insignificance, inferiority, subservience, etc.

As I think about having humility it takes me to a place of being “poor and needy.  Knowing that I must require the Lord in all things.

We must take this position of one that is humble...having humility!

“He fed you manna in the wilderness, [a substance] which your fathers did not know, so that He might humble you [by dependence on Him] and that He might test you, to do good [things] for you at the end.”

‭‭DEUTERONOMY‬ ‭8:16‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“O LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble and oppressed; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear to hear,”

‭‭PSALM‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

God can and will humble you...or you can step into it by getting to know who God is in His triune form...Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.  As you truly get to know Him (His character) and develop a loving relationship with Him, true humility will set in.

I see humility as a key characteristic we must have in order to get the wisdom and knowledge He has for us!

Journey to Renewal and Relationship

Improving and building your relationship with God (pt. 3)

“and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 CHRONICLES 7:14 AMP

As we approach the end of this study.  There is one other word in this scripture I want to take a look at.

3. seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face

“The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God [requiring Him as your greatest need], let your heart revive and live.”

PSALM 69:32 AMP

Even Jesus sought God His father for all that He did while here on earth.

So Jesus answered them by saying, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself [of His own accord], unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever things the Father does, the Son [in His turn] also does in the same way.”

JOHN 5:19 AMP

““I can do nothing on my own initiative or authority. Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just (fair, righteous, unbiased), because I do not seek My own will, but only the will of Him who sent Me.”

JOHN 5:30 AMP

We must carve and desire the will of God for our lives. Ask the Lord to show you His will for your life...He will do it!

“Turn my eyes away from vanity [all those worldly, meaningless things that distract--let Your priorities be mine], And restore me [with renewed energy] in Your ways.”

PSALM 119:37 AMP

Do you require God as your greatest need?

Do you crave the Lord?

Requiring God as a necessity should become a state of mind....just like breathing to stay alive.

All of this helps us improve our relationship with the triune God the Father, the Son Jesus, the Holy Spirit.

(We were created from a relationship to be in a relationship)

Abide in Him, walk with Him.....acknowledging Him in all things.

As you seek the Lord in all things, it will improve your life and your relationship with Him will grow to a more intimate relationship with Him....

“Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, And who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart.”

PSALM 119:2 AMP

As you applied these things to your life.

Ask yourself some of the questions above.

“Want what the Lord wants for you.  A intimate relationship with Him“
